OpenAI Codex reset cards and extra resets
A reset card or other extra-reset offer is separate from the automatic refresh of a Codex usage limit. Availability depends on the offer and the account. This site records a card announcement only after checking its original source, and labels an announced offer separately from a confirmed event. We cannot tell whether your account is eligible.
Three distinctions that matter
An automatic reset refreshes a limit on its account-specific schedule. The official Codex plan guidance separately describes banked resets, including cases where a full bank can change the weekly reset date. It also describes one-time usage-limit resets. Those rules should be read in their current plan and offer context, not combined into one universal calendar.
The official paid weekly-work guidance describes an eligible instant paid reset for certain personal Plus and Pro accounts. It is applied immediately and cannot be banked; its weekly schedule is based on the first subsequent use. That is a distinct offer from credits or banked resets. We do not provide a purchase flow or infer that any reader has the offer.
Where to verify your own status
Use your account’s usage view or Codex CLI /status to see your allowance and displayed reset time. If you receive an offer, read its terms in your account. Our reset-time guide explains how to keep a private countdown, while the history records only verified public updates.
